When Brady Mosher (Mojine Boy) was a youngster in the 60's his father owned a sprawling East Texas night club called the Reo Palm Isle, where Brady got the chance to meet and hear the music of many of the great artists of Country, Rock and R&B of that era - Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bob Wills, and James Brown among them. All these influences along with Tejano, Zydeco and Reggae have made their way into the sound of Wild Okra! In addition to Brady on guitars and vocals Wild Okra! consists of David DeShazo on bass and vocals and Mike Medina on drums and vocals. Further spice is added by Tim Alexander on accordion and organ, and Eric Stuer on percussion. These guys are some of the most soulful players in Texas or anywhere, and together they give lots of well-loved songs the Wild Okra! treatment. It all makes for a honky-tonk gumbo of Roots Rock, Rastabilly and CornFusion that makes everybody want to get down and groove! Have a taste! (some little bites) Scroll down ...
